The village of Skrzebowej (Skrzebowa) is very important to me as Skrzebowej is where my grandfather and great-grandfather came from. My great-grandfather worked on a horse farm.
Skrzebowa is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Raszków, within Ostrów Wielkopolski County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north-east of Raszków, 10 km (6 mi) north of Ostrów Wielkopolski, and 94 km (58 mi) south-east of the regional capital Poznan.
I was there in Sept 1997. Skrzebowa is just a little village with one small grocery store and a Church. I returned to Poland in April 2011. The only change I seen in Skrzebowa was the only grocery store was closed.
